"I" -Belt 2011 -Police dog safety belt for all Julius-K9 harnesses size 1-2
With this elastic, adjustable "I" securing belt, the chest belt, belly belt and dog collar can be connected together at the same time. This keeps the chest belt stable in the sternum line. Thanks to the Velcro fastener, the 'I' securing belt can be easily fixed without having to fully open the chest belt. Its use is recommended when the dog is to be strapped in with the harness in the car, during dog sports and for anxious or very dynamic dogs that sometimes manage to squirm/slip out of the harness in special situations? This can be prevented with the "I" safety harness.
The "I" safety belt can be used with the K9® and IDC® harnesses in sizes 0-4. It is approx. 65 cm long and can be ordered in the following sizes:
Size + item number: 0-1-2 162BGI or 3-4 162BGI34
Patent registration number: U11 00245, 001924663-0014
Attention. The product can only be attached to harnesses introduced by JULIUS-K9® with Velcro opening chest belt and to dog collars with quick release!
Attaching the "I" safety belt to a choke collar is prohibited!
Attachment of the safety harness:
Attach the safety belt with the Velcro of the chest belt from the dog harness, then put the harness on. Undo the collar and pull the quick release through the loop part of the "I" safety strap. Attach the collar to the dog. Check the following stance position on your dog: The safety belt must not be wrapped between the collar and the chest belt of the dog harness and must be taut. The safety belt must fasten the chest belt in line with the inscription on the dog harness -when correctly adjusted, the chest belt of the dog harness lies between the dog's neck and sternum in the case of K9® Power Harnesses®, and on the dog's sternum in the case of IDC harnesses, because it is fixed in this way by the "I" safety belt.
Removing the safety belt: Unbuckle the collar with quick release. Undo the quick release of the harness under the chest belt of the dog harness. Undo the side with Velcro of the "I" securing belt. Pull the dog harness out over the dog's head.
